Shirleen's spot was SPOT ON! She was super accommodating. We took our toddler and she was kind enough to arrange a crib! Isn that sweet? The folks that host the location were also super sweet and nice and they helped arrange a trip to Coronado Island. They even cooked dinner for us (we paid for the fish and the wife cooked us some amazing fish tacos!). It was an amazing 6 days of relaxation and I am glad we stayed here instead of a resort. Did I forget to mention the location is amazing? You can walk EVERYWHERE! from Hotel Luna. The malecon is only 1 minute walking and the center plaza is maybe 5 minutes away. One last thing, the POOL IS BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN and WELL KEPT! You will absolutely love this location. Thank you Shirleen, you are the best!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Luna as a quiet location, excellent restaurant next door and close to the center of old town. Accommodations are fine and meet basic expectations. The pool are is nice which is a great plus because not too much for sitting space adjacent to rooms. Never saw the host, but on site family managing the property is very nice and responsive (they live upstairs). I would have difficulty “recommending” this location, but there was nothing wrong, just nothing to rave about either. Again, except for walking distance to town and adjacent excellent restaurant.

10/10. This is a great place! The room is spacious and has a microwave and fridge. I loved that it also has a 5 gallon jug of water! It is a very quiet and safe neighborhood and everything is walking distance. Only a 2 min walk to the malecón and about 5 min walk to the plaza. The plaza has restaurants and coffee shops. My first time traveling solo and felt very safe walking on my own. The only time I took a taxi was to head back to the airport. You can get taxis by the plaza. I loved that the hotel has both a fan and a AC unit. You get to decide! It also has a tv with Netflix included. Thank you Shirleen!

The Hotel Luna is really an amazing place to stay in the heart of Loreto, a lovely oasis surrounded by palms with a super clean pool. The room was minimal and tasteful, plenty of space to stash your stuff. We liked the pretty coffee mugs and the seating area outside the door. The shared outdoor space included a full open air kitchen, well-stocked and clean, nice lounge chairs, towels. Shirleen was very friendly and responsive, even though she wasn't on site. The managers, Leroy and Armando, were also super friendly and responsive. We felt very taken care of and also very "at home". The location is two blocks from the beach/marina and a 3-minute walk to the mission area where there are lots of restaurants -- just perfect. We can't really say enough good things about Shirleen and Hotel Luna.

We had a great stay at Hotel Luna. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly appointed. We LOVED the beautiful pool and private patio area. Our afternoon “siestas” resting in the shade and swimming at the pool were a highlight of our vacation. We had the space to ourselves most of the time, since the hotel has only 3 guest rooms and our stay was a bit late in the season. Shirleen was very friendly in email communications, but we unfortunately did not get to meet her during our stay. Leroi and her partner Armando were friendly caretakers, but we don’t speak enough Spanish to have benefitted from local tips they may have been able to offer. The location near the Malecon and the Plaza was perfect for our all-walking, no driving preference. The overall peace and quiet was only disrupted by the music from the restaurant-bar next door, especially the loud rock band on Sat nights (7-10pm), and the loud cars that would periodically roar by until late in the night.

Heather JohnstonFebruary 2025 Great little place to stay near the plaza and waterfront in Loreto. The room is decent size with a nice bathroom, and we loved the pool area. It's a bit noisy, because it's so conveniently located, but that's to be expected and things do quiet down at night.

A great adventure was had yesterday with Captain Luis on Bella. Luna Hotel and Sportfishng Charters is a top notch operation. Armando, Ricardo and Tito are awesome.
